I always enjoy the menu at Milestones. I have one concern. The wine list unbelievably does not have ONE Ontario wine in its selection of wines that are all international. Its hard to believe that in our Niagara region we produce some of the worlds best wines at very good prices and Milestones doesn't have even one red and white available. Please correct this for your customers. Our group were mystified when they looked at the wine list and all agreed this was an oversight at a good restaurant.
I will buy my ex a gift certificate just to be cruel to her... boooooooooooring do something to rescue your boring chain.... dont be so corporate. where is the fun? the good food? the entertainment? The service? smiles?
First of all, the food was ok. Not something I adored, but it was edible and tasted ok. The service = the worst ever. We had taken my mom there for her 50th birthday and our crowd spent somewhere in the neighbourhood of $500 (could have been a little more or less, but that's pretty close). We had reservations in advance. The service was painfully slow, we waited for drinks, appetizers, entrees and dessert ... we're talking long periods of waiting. Then, as we were still finishing our dessert, they told us (very rudely, I might add) that we needed to hurry up because they needed the table for another party. Even though it was their fault (with their slow service) that we were there so long! We also objected to their 15% gratuity that they added onto our bill and I told them frankly that if it was up to me they would not receive any gratuity. I called the manager to complain, but he didn't seem to care. No apology. No "here's a meal on us". Nothing. I know Milestone's has notoriously bad service but this was brutal, even for them.
poor service...called in for a reservation on a weekend and i was told that they don't take reservations on fri, sat. but i was told i will be on the wait list and to call 30 prior to arriving and so that my name will be put on the said wait list. to spend my hard earned money. this is how i am treated. with today's economy. i think its time to change the rules here. food was totally wrong and expensive. rather than waiting again in order for my order to be done right or to re do the whole thing again i will have to wait for half hour. i'll never recommend this restaurant to anyone and i'll never spend my money on them either.
like most people said..... service tends to suck but the food i happen to think is great. for a restaurant such as milestones, it tends to be a little too loud.
I will NEVER visit this place again. We took my mom here for her 50th birthday dinner and made reservations in advance. The food was ok, but overpriced. The service was horrible. We waited a long time for our food, the drinks were not refilled unless we flagged someone down, and we were generally ignored. Until, that is, the waitress told us that we had to hurry up and finish because another party was waiting for our table -- WHILE we were still eating! I complained to the manager who was generally disinterested. After spending more than $400 for our table, I was appalled and I will never eat at Milestone's again.
We go there at least monthly - breakfast, lunch or dinner. Weekend breakfasts have been a favorite. The staff have always been amazing, the service has been very friendly and the food has never been anything less than mouth watering and excellent. We've had friends and family with us there - always a good time and never disappointed. Kudos to all the staff, and the cooks.
Food was great. Especially impressed with the Calamari. Very different with sausage tomato sauce and lemon mayo dipping sauce. Bellinis are awesome as usual. Mojito was tart and sweet and a good suggestion by our server who's name I forget.
I've been there numerous times and the service has been excellent and the food was fantastic!
Terrible Terrible Terrible Don't ever take client there unless you want to be ignored absolutly no service what so ever, Dinner was cold, unpleasant with extrodinarly high prices but what else do you expect from a corporate restaurant.
