The Little Gym Of Vaughan

It’s fabulous to see kids of all ages becoming confident through enjoying physical activities. Getting active helps a child to explore and go beyond their limitations, value their own skills and develop respect for others. But not all kids respond to competition though, which is why The Little Gym of Vaughan offers something special. A programme of non-competitive gymnastics that offers all of the benefits of the sport with none of the pressure.

“We develop confidence by giving kids positive feedback and constructive comments. We are specific about what we say and this seems to stick,” says manager Julie Allen. “Our programmes help kids feel sure of themselves. They learn how to speak up and get heard.” The Little Gym of Vaughan's activities, although not geared towards competing, tend to prepare kids for taking part in other competitive sports if they’re interested.
