totally put off
we tend to visit Jerseys on Wing night, (being Wed) however, on occasion we have had a bite to eat on a weekend night as well . Decided to go there tonight for a meal... One order was the Hoagie., which I have ordered in the past and enjoyed. The other order consisted of the Fireside Burger/fries. We decided to share.. so upon slicing both in half and exchanging.. I detected an unusual odor. My husband had already tried a couple of bites of the hoagie.. I took one small bit of the meat.. and immediately knew the beef was off.. it was sour tasting and I knew at once it was bad.Called the cook out and had him take a bite of the half that had not been touched.. I thought, if you serve this..you should also be willing to eat it. He tried it and agreed, the meat was bad. Apologies abound. However, this should not have been in the kitchen, let alone served - Someone needs to do a clean up in that kitchen because if the 'cook' did not notice... and served it.. something is wrong., terribly wrong. That could explain why there were only about six other patrons in the place on a Saturday night.
