There is an overwhelming majority of Canadians of Caribbean origin, which is the largest non-European ethnic groups in Canada and is increasing annually.
Some of the largest and fastest growing festivals held throughout Canada, are the Caribbean events, such as, Caribbean Days in Vancouver, Carifete in Montreal, Carifest in Calgary, and one of the largest festivals is Caribana in Toronto. In 2015,Vancouver Island's Caribbean-Latin Festival and Taste of the Caribbean.
Our mission is to develop the Vancouver Island, Caribbean Culture Club, using sports, music arts and dance, to promote and get our message across to the diverse Caribbean Cultures, that call Victoria Home.
To develop Caribbean Culture in the communities of BC. And choose Vancouver Island, Caribbean Culture Club for education, arts and drama. These offers will include scholarships and music classes in steel and skin drums and offer a variety of local cultural arts and talent classes for all ages. "Tropical Fire Tours" We invited members of different cultural organizations as well as visitors, to observe the opportunities and that are available in the membership.
Workshops, tours, cultural and sporting events and trade shows. All related businesses and services in Canada are also invited to join the club.
