At Zythos Greek Mediterranean Grill, the number of items on the menu are varied and numerous, representing the best of Greek cuisine. But if you talk to server Lynn, you just may get the impression there’s only one thing being cooked in the kitchen. “A lot of times when people are asking about the lamb, I will tell them that I never liked roast lamb until I came to work here,” she says. “Now, it’s my favourite food." According to Lynn, it's the combination of spices, seasonings and marinades used in the cooking process that have made her a lamb convert, crediting George – one of the owners – and chef Stavro for creating some pretty nifty magic in the kitchen. She can’t pinpoint exactly what it is about the lamb that stands out the most, but then again, George and Stavro aren’t too keen on giving away their cooking secrets, either.
