He attended the University of Victoria and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in history (with distinction) in 1983. He earned his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Victoria Faculty of Law in 1985.Upon graduating from law school, Don articled with a 40 lawyer firm in downtown Vancouver. After being called to the Bar in 1986, Don returned to Victoria, where he has practiced for the past 25 years as a civil trial lawyer.Currently, Don practices primarily personal injury law, including motor vehicle accident claims, slip and fall accidents and occupiers liability, products liability, medical and dental malpractice, and assault and battery.
