Started in Fernie BC in 2001 by owner and mechanic Al Komarevich who wanted to do repairs on domestic and imported automobiles on a small scale. Now in 2014 Backyard Mechanical is a full blown commercial and auto repair shop, and a designated inspection facility. Now staffed with four mechanics we can do it all from domestic to import vehicles to commercial truck and equipment repair, if it swings, crawls on tracks, or rolls on rubber we can repair it!
